PUBLIC NOTICE

It has come to the attention of the County Government that certain letters, including the one attached herein claiming to be the official Government communication, have been circulating on social media platforms. We want to clarify that they are FAKE and should be DISREGARDED.

One of the false claims being made is the suspension of medical services. We assure members of the public that medical services in Kakamega County are operational as usual and have not been suspended.

In response to this, the County Government of Kakamega has taken the matter seriously by engaging services of Cyber Crime Security and other relevant security apparatus to identify the individuals responsible for creating and disseminating such fake communique.

Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against them, once identified.
