Kakamega Governor H.E Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya today urged residents of Matungu and the entire county to remain peaceful even as the country heads into the general election.
Governor Oparanya spoke at Koyonzo after inspecting ongoing construction works at Koyonzo Girls Sec School. He said politicians should shun divisive politics and instead foster unity of purpose. Earlier on at Namamali, the Governor had given 50 grade cows to farmers in the 5 wards of Matungu. He wound up his tour by launching a high mast floodlight at Mayoni market.
Tomorrow (09-06-2017) Governor Oparanya will be in Likuyani sub county to launch and inspect various county government projects as well as commission Matunda Police houses constructed by the County Government to enhance security in the area.
