TOP FAN ISAAC JUMA LAID TO REST AS FAMILY APPEALS FOR RESETTLEMENT
The late Harambee Stars and AFC Leopards diehard fan Isaac Juma was laid to rest Saturday at his Ebuyenjere home, Mumias West Sub-County, Kakamega County.
Kakamega Governor H.E Dr. FCPA Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya who joined thousands of mourners for his final sendoff called for speedy investigations into the killing of the renowned sports fanatic and Kenyan hero and promised to look into the resettlement wish of the family to a safer place citing security concerns.
The Governor also pledged to construct a school, a health centre or a police post at the land, which allegedly led to Juma’s death, in accordance with the community’s wishes. The County Government will also pay school fees for Juma’s children in secondary school.
The 58 year old was hacked to death by unknown people while responding to a commotion at his livestock shed.
