Mufichina Bridge, linking Mumias West and Butere, is a vital solution to long-standing connectivity challenges between the two sub-counties. Set for completion by the end of August, the bridge will ease movement, boost local trade, and improve access to essential services.
This evening, H.E. Governor Fernandes Barasa inspected the ongoing construction works at the bridge and expressed satisfaction with the quality and progress of the project.
The bridge, along with many others under construction across all sub-counties, is part of Governor Barasa’s broader agenda to improve roads and infrastructure throughout Kakamega County, aimed at unlocking economic growth and enhancing service delivery in rural areas.
