In furtherance of the Kakamega County Wealth Creation, Infrastructure Development and Food Security pillars, H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa has launched the distribution of this year’s Subsidized Farm Input Program for Central Kakamega in Ivihiga, Isukha East Ward, Shinyalu Sub-County, worth Ksh.703 Million.

The deliverables include 120,000 (25Kg) bags of planting fertilizer, 120,000 (25Kg) bags of top dressing fertilizer, and 103,240 (2Kg) packets of certified maize seeds for the entire County. The County is also distributing 44,000 Kgs fish feeds worth KSh 8.9 Million to support aquaculture activities.

Present were MCAs led by the host and Deputy Speaker Hon. Benard Shitiabayi, County Officials including CECMs, County Secretary and Head of Public Service, Chief of Staff, Advisors, Directors, the Administration and farmers.
