H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa hosted the British High Commissioner to Kenya, H.E. Neil Wigan, and his delegation for the re-awarding of medals to 15 World War II veterans from the Western Region.

Kakamega County takes pride in the 4 veterans who attended the ceremony, among other recipients of these distinguished medals.

In environmental conservation efforts, the County Government of Kakamega will collaborate with the British Government and other international partners to combat climate change, through the preservation of the Kakamega Forest ecosystem.

The Governor invited the British embassy to send delegates to this year’s inaugural Kakamega International Investment Conference scheduled for March 19th to 22nd, which aims to bring to the land of peace both foreign and local investment networks to explore and exchange best insights and experiences.
