H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa has joined his Colleague Excellency Governors, led by the host Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o of Kisumu, Ken Lusaka – Bungoma and Wesley Rotich – Elgeyo Marakwet, for the Apex County Corruption Prevention Committee training by the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC).

As the Chair Finance, Planning and Economic Affairs Committee at the Council of Governors, Governor Barasa has registered the Council’s commitment to partner with EACC to combat and prevent corruption, economic crime and unethical conduct in Kenya.

The Governor has further revealed that his administration endeavours to achieve the good governance agenda by offering servant leadership that adds value to wananchi, making Kakamega a model County.

The three day meeting opened by Dr Cicilia Mutuku, Commissioner EACC, is being attended by Members of the Executive and officials from GIZ.
