The launch of the 10km roads per Ward in Mumias West Sub-County by the Governor H.E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa culminated in Mumias Central Ward, marking the launch of the Matawa Junction – Nasieku – River Nzoia road.

This road is crucial in facilitating transportation of sugarcane from the neighbouring farms to millers, thereby maximizing the economic potential of the area.

Present were the area MP Hon. Johnson Naicca and MCAs hosted by their colleague Hon. Ali Okomba.
