H.E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa concluded his week by celebrating mass at St. Luke’s Bumini Catholic Church in East Wanga Ward, Mumias East Sub-county. The Confirmation Service was presided over by Rt. Rev Joseph Obanyi Sagwe, the Bishop of the Diocese of Kakamega.

In his address to the congregants, Governor Barasa extended his best wishes to candidates preparing for their exams – KPSEA, KCPE, and KCSE. He also urged parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of learners who will be on a break for the extended December holidays, which will be marked by the finals of the Governor’s Cup.

The Governor was accompanied by various county officials, including the Executive led by Mr Morphat Mandela and MCAs led by Majority Leader Hon. Philip Maina together with the host Hon. Francis Washika.
