10TH ANNUAL MEETING OF THE WANAMAHABARA KAKAMEGA SELF-HELP GROUP

Kakamega County Chief of Staff Mr. Kassim Were on Saturday represented H.E the Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa at the 10th Annual Meeting of the Wanamahabara Kakamega Self-Help Group in Kakamega Municipality.

The group comprises of staff members from the Department of Health drawn from all the 12 Sub-Counties.

During the meeting, Mr. Were emphasized Governor Barasa’s commitment to promoting staff welfare, including addressing long-standing issues of job stagnation, noting that promotions is one amongst his key agendas on improving staff welfare.

The Chief of Staff also emphasized the importance of staff channelling their welfare related issues through government structures, at the same time calling on the attendees to work towards improving healthcare services in the County, in line with Governor Barasa’s Pillar on Health.
