PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY KEY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19 ~ GOVERNOR OPARANYA

Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya has called on Kenyans to be at the forefront in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic

Addressing media after a Covid-19 sensitization meeting at ACK Church Butere, the Governor said Kenyans should strictly adhere to the measures put in place by the Ministry of Health to fight the virus.

He asked Kenyans to ensure they wear masks while in public, keep social distance and wash hands regularly.

“To win the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, every citizen should take a personal responsibility by keeping social distance, wearing a mask, sanitizing or washing hands and avoiding unnecessary movements,” said Oparanya.

The Kakamega Governor distributed masks and sanitizers to people who attended the meeting.
