CONSTRUCTION OF MUMIAS – MUSANDA ROAD TO BITUMEN STANDARDS LAUNCHED

Kakamega Governor H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa on Sunday joined President William Ruto at Buhuru in Mumias West Sub-County where the Head of State together with the County boss commissioned upgrade of the 8.5 kilometres Mumias-Musanda road to bitumen standards.

In his address, Governor Barasa said his Administration is collaborating with the National Government to fastrack development agenda in the County in key sectors such as road network, construction of modern markets and industrial parks as well revival of industries in the region among them Mumias Sugar Company.

Present were Deputy President H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, Prime Cabinet Secretary H.E Musalia Mudavadi, Members of Parliament and other Senior Officers from both levels of Government.
