COUNCIL CHAIR VISITS REGIONAL ECONOMIC BLOC SECRETARIAT

The newly elected chairman of the Lake Region Economic Bloc Summit, H.E. Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya today made inaugural visit to the bloc’s Secretariat in Kisumu.

He addressed the staff, most of whom are volunteeres and interns, and assured them of possible absorption into permanent employment once the structure currently being developed is approved. Governor Oparanya reminded them of the need to observe ettiquette, protocol and confidentiality noting that they will come across many sensitive and confidential documents in the course of their duties.
