The County Government of Kakamega will soon roll out a comprehensive connectivity program across the county. The program that incorporates the use of ICT aims at, among others, curbing rampant corruption in the various county government revenue collection units.

Some of the key projects to be under taken include automation of service delivery, improving internet connectivity and setting up of ICT centres and innovation hubs in the entire county among others. This will ensure effective and efficient relaying of government information to the people.

He said the county assembly will support the Ministry in ensuring enough funds are allocated for that particular purpose.
