COUNTY ENFORCEMENT TEAM PRAISED FOR EXCELLENCE

The Kakamega County Enforcement and Security Officers have been praised for observing high standards of discipline and integrity in service delivery.

Speaking on Thursday during a monthly County Commanders Meeting held at Butere Sub-County offices, the County Director of Enforcement and Security Rtd. Col. John Otido called on his officers to upscale respect for humanity and property especially when coordinating revenue collection in the County.

Mr Otido thanked his staff for the teamwork spirit exhibited by collaborating with the police in enforcing law and order in Kakamega County.

Butere Sub-County Administrator Madam Joyce Wafukho, having consulted the Acting County Attorney Madam Vivian Mmbaka, while appreciating the officers for their professionalism, informed the meeting of plans by the Government to operationalize the County Courts adding that this will hasten the judicial process for law offenders while at the same time contributing to own source revenue.

The officers were also encouraged to continue enforcing the Covid-19 protocols by apprehending individuals who flout the directives issued by the Ministry of Health on containing the spread of the Corona virus in the County.

All Sub-County Enforcement Commanders attended the meeting.
