COUNTY POLYTECHNIC LEARNERS READY TO COMMENCE NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS

Kakamega County CECM for Education, ScienceandTechnology. Benard Amwayi assessed the levels of preparedness at Kakamega County Polytechnic ahead of the upcoming Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) examinations set to begin tomorrow, Wednesday, 16th 2025.
Speaking at the institution, the CECM assured learners of sustained support from the County Government in skills development, youth empowerment and job creation. Some of the areas assessed were availability of academic resources as well as readiness and preparedness of both the tutors and learners.
The initiative reflects Governor Fernandes Barasa’s broader mission to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, equip young people with practical skills and create opportunities for self-reliance aligning with the vision of a well-educated, productive, and empowered workforce.
