COUNTY RECEIVES PPEs FROM KENYA RED CROSS

Kakamega County Deputy Governor Prof. Philip Museve Kutima Thursday morning received Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) worth Ksh 11 million from the Kenya Red Cross (KRC) to support the Government’s efforts in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 in the County.

Prof. Kutima reminded residents to strictly follow the containment protocals put in place by the Ministry of Health to combat the spread of the virus.

The donation that included pharmaceuticals and non-pharmaceuticals was delivered by Mr. Elijah Muli, the KRC Head of Disaster Management. Kenya Red Cross has partnered with European Union and MasterCard to support healthcare workers in the Country.

Kakamega County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Health Services Dr. Collins Matemba also attended the brief ceremony.
