COUNTY RENEWS PUSH FOR LIKUYANI INDUSTRIAL PARK COMPLETION

Chief Officer for Public Works, Mr. Pascal, today led a team of technical officers on a site inspection of the Likuyani Industrial Park to assess the progress of the ongoing works and ensure that implementation remains on schedule. The inspection formed part of the County Government’s commitment to monitoring key development projects and ensuring value for public investment.

The technical team expressed optimism over the progress achieved so far and noted that there is renewed hope for the successful completion of the project. Once operational, the industrial park is expected to attract investment, create employment opportunities and position Kakamega County as a leading industrial and manufacturing hub in the region.

Speaking during the inspection, Mr. Pascal urged the contractor to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe, noting that any unnecessary delays could result in additional costs that may place an extra financial burden on the county government.
