DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Kakamega County Chief of Staff Mr. Robert Bob Sumbi who passed away on Thursday (today) morning while undergoing treatment.

Before his appointment to the position of Chief of Staff, Mr. Sumbi also served as a County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for the then Ministry of Sports, Youth and Culture in H.E Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya’s first administration (2013-2017).

H.E Governor Oparanya has mourned the late Sumbi as a humble, dedicated, honest and resourceful officer.

We highly appreciate his immense contribution not just to the County Government of Kakamega but the entire Kakamega County; His services will be dearly missed.

We convey our deepest condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, relatives and friends as they come to terms with the loss.
