DEPUTY GOVERNOR VISITS TOP FERTILIZER PRODUCTION PLANT

Kakamega Deputy Governor H.E Hon. Ayub Savula on Wednesday visited the Sanergy Plant in Machakos County. The visit came after another meeting held on Monday in Nairobi where the DG met representatives of the firm at Sanergy Headquarters offices in Nairobi.

The County through Kakamega County Investment and Development Agency (KCIDA) has intensified efforts to attract Sanergy Kenya investors to establish a similar factory in Kakamega County.

Sanergy engages in upcycling organic waste into much needed agricultural inputs such as protein animal feed and organic fertilizer and are currently the highest producer of organic fertilizer in Kenya operating the largest facility of organic fertilizer production in Sub-saharan Africa.
