GOVERNOR BARASA STEPS UP BURSARY DISBURSEMENT INITIATIVE

On day two of H.E FCPA Governor Fernandes Barasa’s issuance of Ward Based Bursary cheques to the respective Sub-Counties, Navakholo and Matungu received KES 10 Million a piece while Mumias West got KES 8 Million. Mumias East, the smallest Sub-County in Kakamega in terms of population and size received a KES 6 Million cheque bringing the total number of Sub-Counties in receipt of the funds to nine.

Malava, Lugari and Likuyani Sub-Counties will receive their bursary funds on Monday next week.
