GOVERNOR FCPA FERNANDES BARASA GRACES KCA UNIVERSITY FETE

The Governor of Kakamega County H.E. Hon. FCPA Fernandes Barasa Friday afternoon graced the KCA University’s Inaugural Founders Day Luncheon at the institution’s multipurpose hall in Nairobi.

The Governor who is also the 21st ICPAK Chairperson called for the revival of a strategic twinning academic collaboration programme of KCA University with other international institutions of higher learning, specifically targeting areas of Research and Public Finance Management, an idea he initiated at the institution 8 years ago.

He also thanked the founders and friends of KCA University for their resilience in visionary leadership that finally led into the establishment of the mother of accountancy in Kenya and around the world; KCA University.

Plans are underway to ensure establishment of the first satellite campus of KCA University in Kakamega County.

Also in attendance were Nairobi City County Women Representative, Hon. Esther Passaris and Ikolomani MP, Hon Bernard Shinali.
