GOVERNOR OPARANYA COMMISSIONS COUNTY PROJECTS

Kakamega Governor H.E Dr. FCPA Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya Monday commissioned Khwisero Smart Dairy Farm, a model dairy project, to enhance production of milk. The Smart Farm will also act as a training center for farmers and students from local institutions in the Sub-County and the environs. So far around 228 farmers from the local community have been trained at the facility on best practices in dairy value chain geared towards improving milk production and incomes at household levels.

The Governor also leveraged on his development tour of the Sub-County to commission Mundeku Polytechnic and Mushinaka ECDE and also inspected ongoing construction of Dudi Open Air Market in Kisa West Ward where he instructed the contractor to hasten its completion before commisioning.
