GOVERNOR’S DAY WITH FARMERS

H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa joined farmers at Bukura ATC for the third edition of the Governor’s Day with Farmers.

The event comes a week after the launch of the exercise of distributing subsidized farm inputs to Kakamega farmers in all the 60 Wards of the County worth over Ksh. 700 million.

Governor Barasa’s administration is committed to enhancing advanced farming in the County by supporting farmers in their preferred activities, including maize, horticulture and sugarcane farming, aquaculture, apiculture, dairy, poultry and pig farming, among others.

Present were Farmers, MCAs led by the Chair Agriculture Committee Hon. James Etabale, Host Hon. Gildon Shioso (Butsotso South), County Officials including CECMs, CoS, COs, CEOs of various County agencies, Advisors, Ombudsman, Partners, the Administration, among other stakeholders.
