ICT EXECUTIVE SIGNS CONTRACTS WITH HER CHIEF OFFICERS

One day after Kakamega Governor H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa signed Performance Contracts with his County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) and other Senior County Officers, the CECM for ICT, E-government and Communication Ms Rachel Atamba signed the crucial Performance Management tool with her two Chief Officers Mr Phanuel Musasia (ICT) and Mr Joseph Lutilo (E-government and Communication) in a brief event held at Kotecha Boardroom offices, Kakamega, on Thursday.

In her remarks, Ms Atamba instructed the COs to cascade the document further to the lowest level in the Departments in order to make the Officers have a clear picture of the impact of the PC to them and to the residents of Kakamega County in line with the Manifesto of H.E the Governor.

The three important enabler Departments: ICT, E-government and Communication, become the first County Government Units to hit the ground rolling and will be expected to play a fundamental role in realization of H.E Governor Barasa six point agenda with a clear focus on results.

Mr Samuel Wetungu who is an appointed PC Champion in the Ministry witnessed the exercise and is expected to sign the document with the two Chief Officers in his capacity as the Director for ICT and E-government

The Officers are optimistic that the Ministry will emerge the winner come the end of year evaluation.
