IKOLOMANI DEVELOPMENT TOUR DAY
Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya today wound his two day tour of Ikolomani by commissioning Shibwe Sub County Hospital Maternity ward at Shibwe Level 4 Hospital. Expectant mothers of Ikolomani will now receive medical care and pregnancy clinics at the facility.The Governor announced that the facility as well as Iguhu County Hospital will soon have an operational theater room to reduce cases of operations being referred to Kakamega County General Hospital.
H.E Governor Oparanya also inspected on going construction works at Mwiserero Bridge which will enhance connections, upon completion, among residents of Shiseso, Shimanyiro and Mutaho villages. The river had claimed hundreds of lives in the area especially during the heavy rains periods. Governor Oparanya also launched the construction of Malinya Modern market to rid business people from conducting businesses along the roads. The Governor wound his day by commissioning Emasaka Health Centre that begins operations tomorrow (18th May, 2017) and will be operating from Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm.
