KAKAMEGA COUNTY GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCES MASSIVE JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The County Government of Kakamega is set to hire a total of 3000 youth starting July, 2023. H.E FCPA Governor Fernandes Barasa, on Saturday at the funeral service of the late Maendeleo Democratic Party Leader Hon. Amisi Muganda said 50 youths will be selected from each of the 60 wards in an effort to empower residents in line with his Wealth creation and Social Development pillars of his manifesto.

The Governor asserted that all successful applicants will be given an opportunity to serve the residents and the County Government regardless of their academic qualifications.

The youth who will be hired for one year will be tasked with maintenance of road and drainage systems, sentry services, bush clearing as well as office support services.

Deputy Governor H.E Ayub Savula said those from the less fortunate families will be given priority in the opportunities to enable them empower themselves and their families.
