KAKAMEGA, CPF TO PARTNER IN CONSTRUCTION OF COUNTY HEADQUARTERS

Kakamega County Governor H.E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa Tuesday afternoon hosted a delegation from the County Pension Fund (CPF) led by the Group Managing Director Mr. Hosea Kili.

Key among the discussions was a partnership between the County Government of Kakamega and CPF to put up a modern County Headquarters, beginning January 2023.

Apart from enhancing service delivery to the people, the new County Headquarters will also be a cost-cutting measure, as several County Government departments are currently located on rented premises within Kakamega Central Business District.

Upon signing of the development agreement between the two parties, it is envisaged that the project shall be completed within six months.
