KAKAMEGA INVESTMENT AGENCY RECEIVES NEW CEO
Dr. Barrack Otieno has officially assumed office as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kakamega County Investment Development Agency (KCIDA).
On Monday, the CECM for Finance, Economic Planning, ICT, e-Government and Communication Mr. Benjamin Andama presided over the official handover ceremony at the Agency’s offices, where Dr. Barrack Otieno took office in acting capacity as the CEO of KCIDA from Ms. Elizabeth Asichi, the outgoing CEO
Mr. Andama congratulated Dr. Otieno on his appointment and reaffirmed the County Government’s commitment to supporting the Agency in the effective delivery of its mandate. He also commended Ms. Asichi for laying a strong foundation during her tenure as CEO.
In his remarks, Dr. Otieno pledged to serve with diligence and professionalism to ensure the Agency fulfills its mandate to the people of Kakamega County in line with Governor Fernandes Barasa’s development agenda. He further promised to work closely with stakeholders and development partners to promote and attract investments within the county.
Present during the ceremony were Kakamega County Public Service Board Chairperson Dr. James Sakwa Akungwi, KCIDA Board Chairperson Robinson Oduma and Chief Officer for Economic Planning and Investment Mr. Samuel Limisi
