KHWISERO RESIDENTS URGED TO SAFEGUARD GOVERNMENT INVESTMENTS

Residents of Khwisero Sub-County have been called upon to take ownership of and safeguard development projects initiated by the County Government of Kakamega.

Speaking during the funeral service of Mama Elizabeth Omamo in Khwisero, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Finance, Economic Planning, ICT, e-Government and Communication, Hon. Benjamin Andama, underscored the Administration’s commitment to equitable development across the Sub-County.

Hon. Andama cited flagship projects including the *Misango Water Project* and the ongoing *Rapid Response Initiative*, under which over 30 kilometres of roads have so far been graded; a clear testimony to Governor Fernandes Barasa’s resolve to transform livelihoods at the grassroots.

He urged residents to embrace the County Government’s development agenda and jealously protect public investments, noting that sustainability of these projects is key to ensuring long-term benefits for present and future generations.

The CECM was accompanied by Chief Officer for Financial Management, CPA Diminah Chikamai, and Chief Officer for Finance, Mrs. June Mwajuma.
