OUNTY TO TAP INTO OPERATIONS OF NLC TO IMPROVE LAND-RELATED SERVICES TO KAKAMEGA RESIDENTS

The CECM for Lands, Housing, Urban Areas and Physical Planning Ms. Angela Muchai, today, paid a courtesy call to the Commissioner of the National Land Commission (NLC), FCPA Susan Oyatsi, at the Commission’s offices in Nairobi, in a bid to strengthen collaboration between the County Government of Kakamega and the NLC. The discussion focused on how to enhance service delivery in the land sector within Kakamega county.

The Department of lands is striving to reduce turnaround time in service delivery in matters related to land administration and management.

Present during the meeting was the Chief Officer for Lands Administration and Survey, Eng. Ishmael Makanga.

The engagement highlights the County Government’s commitment, under the administration of H. E FCPA Fernandes Barasa, to working closely with national government institutions to improve governance.
