RESIDENTS URGED TO TAKE PART IN ONGOING PUBLIC FORUMS

Kakamega County residents have been encouraged to actively participate in the ongoing County stakeholders consultation forums to allow the Government to facilitate development in accordance with the needs of the residents.

Speaking on Tuesday at Sichirayi during the funeral service of the late Ms Praxidis Tsindoli, the CECM for Trade, Industrialization and Tourism Ms Rachel Atamba who represented H.E the Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa at the function said the County boss will on Friday preside over Lurambi Sub-County’s stakeholders engagement forum at the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Offices at Eshisiru and urged residents to attend the event en masse for an opportunity to chart their development priorities in the presence of the entire County Executive led by the Governor.

The CECM assured residents that Governor Barasa is on course with implementation of his development agenda after launching his Administration’s five year County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) blueprint.

Ms Atamba also read Governor Fernandes Barasa’s condolence message that eulogized Ms Praxidis as a hardworking and dedicated public servant. The late was a Secretarial Assistant in the Department of ICT, E-government and Communication.

Present were CECM for Lands, Housing, Urban Areas and Physical Planning Dr Mariam, Chief Officers, Directors and other other Government officers.
