EXPECT ENHANCED SERVICE DELIVERY – AYUB SAVULA SAYS

Kakamega County Deputy Governor H.E Ayub Savula has pointed out that the recent reorganization of Government by H.E Governor Fernandes Barasa will lead to enhanced service delivery and efficiency in the County Public Service.

The Deputy Governor (DG) was reacting to Members of the Press on the recent reorganization of Government by Governor Fernandes Barasa where he (DG) was assigned extra responsibilities to coordinate all Ministries, Departments and Agencies; a mandate he asserted, he will discharge diligently to ensure the Governor’s agenda is realized.

Hon. Savula explained that reorganization of Government is normal in Government and reminded all the Officers who were affected by the changes to quickly adjust and continue rendering the much needed services to the people.

He further said implementation of Governor Fernandes Barasa’s Manifesto is on course guided by the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) citing Commissioning of Construction of a Fertilizer Plant and an Industrial Park at Mumias West and Likuyani Sub-Counties respectively as some of the milestones so far achieved by Governor Barasa.

Earlier on the Deputy Governor had overseen a smooth hand over of office between Mr Lawrence Omuhaka and Dr Bonface Okoth, the incoming and outgoing County Secretary and Head of Public Service respectively. The two Senior Officers promised to inject new ideas in addition to leveraging on the expertise from the existing personnel at their new stations to boost service delivery.
