SCRUTINIZE DATA BEFORE PRESENTATION TO PUBLIC – DR. SABANA

The County Executive Member for Finance, Economic Planning and ICT Dr. Beatrice Sabana has directed County Planners to ensure correct and factual data is captured on the County Projects Tracking Dashboard before the platform is unveiled to the public.

The CECM was speaking during the system’s participatory capacity building workshop Friday morning where she reiterated the Government’s committment to operationalize lCT driven reporting as a way of enhancing public governance.

“This is a very welcome project that will actualize our resolve and vision to fully migrate to the digital platform; H.E the Governor Dr Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya is eager to see the impact of this system on general service delivery in the County,” said Dr Sabana as she challenged the Planners to bring their knowledge and experience to use.

Service Delivery and Advisory Unit Chief Officer Dr. Phitalis Masakhwe observed that his Unit has also proposed for the establishment of a County Call Center to supplement the dashboard platform noting that oversight and feedback from members of the public will be key in ensuring proper and timely completion of Government projects.

Also in attendance was Director Service Delivery and Advisory Unit Dr. Jairo Omulako and ERP Manager Phanuel Musasia among other Government Officers.
