The inaugural Kakamega International Investment Conference (#KAIICO2024) concluded today with the signing of 22 MoUs with various strategic investors, poised to unlock the untapped potential in Kenya’s “Green Jewel”.
These partnerships entail the establishment of industries, market access, promotion of products from Kakamega, raw materials for various industries, energy solutions, provision of essential services such as water and healthcare, environmental conservation efforts, among others.
The Chief Guest Rt. Hon Moses Wetangula, showcased available opportunities in Kakamega, urging investors to seize them.
The Speaker of the National Assembly also expressed the National Government’s goodwill towards making Kakamega an investment hub.
Senate Speaker Rt. Hon Amason Kingi, emphasized the importance of agro-industries and encouraged investors to consider Kakamega as a prime destination for investment.
In closing, the Governor extended gratitude to all attendees for exploring investment prospects showcased at the inaugural Kakamega International Investment Conference.
