𝑲𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑴𝑬𝑮𝑨 𝑪𝑶𝑼𝑵𝑻𝒀 𝑯𝑶𝑺𝑻𝑺 𝑾𝑶𝑹𝑳𝑫 𝑭𝑶𝑶𝑫 𝑫𝑨𝒀 2023 𝑭𝑬𝑻𝑬 𝑨𝑻 𝑩𝑼𝑲𝑼𝑹𝑨.

Kakamega County continues to lead the way in safeguarding #FoodSecurity, making it a fitting host for World Food Day 2023 celebrated today at Bukura Agricultural Training Center in Lurambi Sub-county.

During the event, Governor Barasa guided visitors through various demonstration plots in the institution, allowing them to engage with farmers and share best practices.

He also toured exhibition booths showcasing value-added agricultural products. In support of such initiatives in the County, the Governor informed on the state of the construction of the Likuyani Aggregation and Industrial Park project, a message reinforced by the area MP Hon. Innocent Mugabe, who was also in attendance.

The event was also graced by other dignitaries, including Livestock PS Mr. Jonathan Mueke and Partners led by FAO Country Representative Ms. Carla Mucavi.
