𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢.

H.E. Governor Dr. Fernandes Barasa, FCPA, OGW, today continued the County Government’s road maintenance programme in Butsotso East Ward, Lurambi Sub-County, funded through the Road Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF).

The Governor launched maintenance works on the Sasala–Emusaga–Applegate Road. The road is among several others currently being maintained under the RMLF programme in Khwisero, Matungu, and Shinyalu sub-counties. The programme will cover all the 12 sub-counties.The works will improve road conditions and ensure smooth movement, especially ahead of the long rains season.

The improved road will enhance access to markets, schools, and health facilities. It will also support trade and service delivery, supporting the County Government’s commitment to improving the lives of wananchi.

The Governor was accompanied by Members of the County Assembly, County Executive Committee Members, and other county officials.
