𝑮𝑶𝑽𝑬𝑹𝑵𝑶𝑹 𝑩𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑺𝑨 𝑮𝑹𝑨𝑪𝑬𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑵𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑯 𝑷𝑼𝑩𝑳𝑰𝑪 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑻𝑰𝑪𝑰𝑷𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑼𝑴 𝑰𝑵 𝑵𝑨𝑽𝑨𝑲𝑯𝑶𝑳𝑶.
H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa had the pleasure of interracting with stakeholders from Navakholo during a public forum in the Sub County today.
The meeting, which was held at St. Joseph’s Lusumu Primary School in Bunyala West Ward was the ninth leg of the County Government of Kakamega’s meet the people tours to listen to their pressing development needs.
As outlined in the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) 2023-2027, the Governor pledged to upgrade the area’s road network. He also reiterated that he has put measures in place to revitalize Mumias Sugar Company which is a critical player in the western region economy.
To this end, Governor Barasa disclosed that he will submit a Memorandum to H.E the President, to consider waiving over Sh30 billion debts owed by the cane miller.
Area MP Hon. Emmanuel Wangwe, MCAs led by the majority leader Hon. Philip Maina and county officials graced the event. They were also joined by Mr Eric Ongeri, Kisii County CECM for sports, among other leaders.
