DEPUTY GOVERNOR GRACES OVER KMTC EVENT

Kakamega Deputy Governor H.E Hon. Ayub Savula has called on the management of Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Lugari Campus to design programs that will lead to introduction of Clinical Medicine Courses at the institution aimed at upgrading its status.

Speaking on Saturday during the institution’s open day, the Deputy Governor said the County Government is committed to supporting all learning institutions more so those under devolved functions challenging the college administration to enhance its curricula to enable the graduates acquire excellent theoretical and hands-on clinical training which will equip them with the relevant knowledge and clinical skills to cope with the dynamic field of medical practice.

Hon. Savula further revealed the the County leadership will equip Lumakanda Level Four hospital and Mautuma dispensary to allow the students gain more experience from the facilities as they persue their respective courses.
