COUNTY REVIEWS DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN LIKUYANI
Chief Officer for Service Delivery in the Office of the Governor, Dr. Phitalis Masakhwe, today led a team of county officers on a project verification and service delivery assessment exercise in Likuyani Sub-County.
The exercise aimed at evaluating the progress of key development initiatives and ensuring efficient implementation of county projects. The team visited the Likuyani Industrial Park, Matunda Water Treatment Plant and the Matunda Water Intake project, where they inspected ongoing works and assessed their impact on the livelihoods of residents.
The team also held consultative meetings with Heads of Departments to review project implementation, address emerging challenges and identify strategies for improving service delivery.
Speaking during the exercise, Dr. Masakhwe said the county government remains committed to closely monitoring development projects to ensure they are completed on time and deliver maximum benefits to wananchi. He added that continuous monitoring and evaluation are essential in promoting accountability and advancing Governor Fernandes Barasa’s development agenda across the county.
Also present during the exercise was Mr. Yaola Wilson, Director of County Administration, alongside other county officials.
