STADIUM CONSTRUCTION ON COURSE

The first phase construction of Bukhungu Stadium is on course. Ministry of Social Services, Youths and Sports CECM Mr. Robert Sumbi expressed optimism at the current construction rate at the sports facility, now at over 90 percent in the first phase. Mr. Sumbi said once complete, it will have a seating capacity of over 30,000 people with a complete athletics track and a fully equipped gymnasium as well as a sports talent search centre hosted at the facility.
