COUNTY FIRST LADY GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

Kakamega County First Lady Priscilla Oparanya has pressed on with her efforts of empowering the less privileged members of the society. H.E Priscilla Oparanya was in Musanda, Mumias West Sub County today on a fact finding mission at Nasio Trust to seek ways of partnering with the private based organisation with the sole purpose of assisting the less privileged.

Nasio Trust is a private organisation assisting the orphans and vulnerable children. Under its umbrella, it has the George Midenyo Medical Centre which provides affordable health care to the community and an Early Childhood Education Centre among others. So far the institution’s first beneficiary will this year be seating her final year examinations at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. Currently, Mama Priscilla is at Eshihaka, Butere Sub County on a jigger eradication campaign.
