COUNTY TO TARMAC KAMBI YA MWANZA – LUKUME ROAD

The County Government of Kakamega will tarmac Kambi ya Mwanza – Lukume road to enhance communication in the area. This was announced by the Governor of Kakamega County H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa on Wednesday during the funeral service of the late Jackson Sivitari at Lubao, Malava Sub-County. Additionally, the Governor revealed, his administration will construct a bridge this financial year to provide a linkage between Cheboso and Chombeli.

“I have also engaged the management of West Kenya Sugar Company to make it easier for farmers to get permits,” the Governor added and called on sugar milling companies in the County to join hands with his administration in maintenance of roads which are destroyed by cane trucks during delivery of raw materials to the factories.

He was accompanied by First Lady Prof. Janet Kassily Barasa and other leaders.
