GOVERNOR BARASA ASSURES OF UNIFORMITY IN ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES

H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa, Governor Kakamega County, on Sunday worshipped with Christians of Evangelical Free Mission Church in Manda/Shivanga Ward, Malava Sub-County where he reiterated his commitment to ensure equal distribution of resources across the County in line with his slogan of “Maendeleo na Usawa.”

The County CEO said the KSh.20 Million Fund allocation for Ward Development will cater for projects across the County to ensure supply of clean and safe Water, construction and improvement of roads, supply of electricity and construction and equipping of ECDEs and County Polytechnics.

The Governor also revealed that Chimoi-Manda-Ikoli road will soon be upgraded from all-weather status to bitumen standards. This he stated, will enhance communication in the area. Governor Barasa also promised to construct modern Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classrooms at Fubuye primary school.
