GOVERNOR BARASA MEETS NEW CYSWEP COORDINATORS.

H.E. Governor Dr. Fernandes Barasa, FCPA, OGW, today met newly onboarded County Youth Service and Women Empowerment Programme (CYSWEP) Coordinators from across Kakamega County at the County Chambers.
The Governor urged the coordinators to serve with professionalism, integrity and dedication as they oversee the implementation of CYSWEP activities and strengthen service delivery at the grassroots. He noted that the programme has so far benefited more than 6,000 youths and women through employment and community service, adding that the County Government will continue creating opportunities that improve livelihoods.
Governor Barasa also directed the coordinators to work closely with county officers in implementing development programmes in their respective sub-counties, including maintaining cleanliness in markets and other public spaces to promote a healthy and orderly environment.
The meeting was attended by CECM for Social Services, Sports, Youth, Gender and Culture CPA Jackline Masicha; Chief of Staff Denis Wekesa; Chief Officers Dan Sumba of County Administration and Lawrence Mukoyani of Youth, Sports and Library Services; County Ombudsman Nelson Majimbo; Director CYSWEP Luke Otipo, among other officials
