H.E FCPA FERNANDES BARASA, TOGETHER WITH THE FIRST LADY – PROF. JANET KASSILY BARASA – TOURED ST. ANGELA BULIMBO PRIMARY SCHOOL

H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa, together with the First Lady – Prof. Janet Kassily Barasa – toured St. Angela Bulimbo Primary School in Matungu Sub-County this evening to observe the commendable organic farming initiatives by the school’s 4-K Club in collaboration with the Sustainable Organic Farming Development Initiative (SOFDI), an NGO focusing on empowering vulnerable farmers in Western Kenya.

Governor Barasa expressed appreciation to SOFDI for their partnership in organic farming and their upcoming feeding program in the school.

To further augment these achievements, the Governor announced government plans to construct a model Early Childhood Development Education Center (ECDE) at the institution this year.
