KAKAMEGA MCAs ELECT NEW SPEAKER

Lawyer James Wanzala Namatsi has been elected the second Speaker of the County Assembly of Kakamega.

Hon. Namatsi, an advocate of the High Court, garnered 60 votes while Hon. Kennedy Kilwake, the immediate former Majority Leader came in second with 26 votes.

Hon. Morris Indakwa Buluma who was defending the seat got 3 votes. Hon. Bulama has served the County Assembly for two consecutive terms.
