KAKAMEGA TOPS THE COUNTRY, AGAIN

Kakamega County has yet again produced the best pupil Nationally in this year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations that were released by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machoge, today.

County Governor H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa Wednesday afternoon joined pupils, teachers and parents of St. Peters Primary School in Mumias West Sub-County to celebrate with the institution’s fraternity where Lewis Otieno Omondi – the country’s best performer- has been a pupil. FCPA Barasa appreciated the pupils, teachers and parents for the stellar performance that has put the name of the County in the limelight.

He reiterated that education is a key priority for his government saying he will continue cooperating with the National Government to enhance education standards in Kakamega County.
