MALAVA SUB-COUNTY GOVERNOR’S CUP WARD FINALS

Kakamega Governor H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa led football fanatics in witnessing the South Kabras Governor’s Cup Final held at Shamoni Primary School Grounds in Malava Sub-County.

Shamoni FC delivered a sublime performance outmuscling Shihome FC with a thrilling 2-1 to pocket Ksh. 50,000 and a trophy as well as a qualification to the Sub-county stage of the tournament.

In the other Finals, Musungu sunk Kamachisu 3-0 while Butali Youth were 2-1 winners over Mavusi in Butali Chegulo Ward. In Manda Shivanga, Tombo Foxes secured a Sub-County ticket after 6-5 victory over Manda FC in post match penalties following a 0-0 scoreline in regular time. Young Gunners secured a 3-2 win against Shitirira to book the Chemuche Ward ticket.

Tomorrow, Saturday, the four Wards of Ikolomani Sub-County will hold their Finals.
