TECH COMPANIES SEEK BUSINESS AS COUNTY EMBRACES CASHLESS REVENUE COLLECTION SYSTEM

Kenya’s top tech companies today made a competitive pitch for business following Kakamega County Government’s decision to embrace cashless revenue collection systems to enhance efficiency.

The three companies specialized in online payment, card and management systems faced top County officials during a presentation session chaired by H.E. governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya at Golf Hotel, Kakamega infront of key stakeholder departments and units including Finance and Planning, ICT, e-Governent and Communication, Health, Trade, Industrialization and Tourism, Agriculture, Procurement and County Public Service Board.

The selection of a suitable company will successfully conclude Kakamega County’s long quest for a high tech revenue collection system.

Also present were H.E. the Deputy Governor Prof. Philip Museve Kutima, Chairperson of the County Public Service Board, Madam Rodah Masaviru, CECMs, Chief Officers, Chief of Staff, Mr. Robert Sumbi, Advisors and directors among other senior government officials.
